The introduction of Point of Care (PoC) tests has expanded the scope of forensic investigations. However, the practical application of advanced techniques remains limited, requiring thorough discussion and proper training for practitioners. The forensic science community has faced challenges from the apex court regarding the reliability of forensic reports, highlighting the need for robust and accurate forensic practices.
