ABOUT MNLU MUMBAI
Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20th March 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. It offers graduate, post-graduate, and research degrees in law and allied disciplines. ABOUT THE DIPLOMA
With the rapid advancement in Science and Technology, the landscape of crime and the characteristics of criminals have evolved significantly. Technologically driven offenses, transcending borders, now present a formidable challenge to crime investigation protocols. Modern-day criminal activities, encompassing white-collar crime, cross-border infractions, cybercrime, and more, necessitate a wholly scientific and technical approach.
COURSE INFORMATION
Medium of Instruction: English Course
Duration: One year divided into 02 semesters
Course Dates: Start: September 2024; End: July 2025.
Classes: Weekends and Public Holidays only.
Mode: Hybrid
Exams: On holidays
Lecture Recordings: Will be shared with the students.
Subjects: Sem 1: 03 papers; Sem 2: 03 papers and 01 Research Project.
Modes of Learning: Mainly lectures and assignments. The Course may feature field visits, seminars, workshops, conferences, and special lectures delivered by industry experts.
Total Seats: 60; seat allotment is subject to discretion of the University.
Course Completion Duration: Participants have a maximum of 03 years to complete the course; failure to do so may necessitate re-registration, subject to the university’s terms and conditions

Qualification: Candidates who’ve completed or appearing for the final year exam of their Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from any recognized University are eligible to apply.
