Call for Applications! for the post of Associate Communications – AFAR Project! at Hertie School in Berlin!
The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. The school offers master’s programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research. We seek to fill the position of
Associate Communications (gn)
full-time (40 hours/week), to start as soon as possible. The contract is limited for 12 months.
The contract shall commence as soon as possible and is limited for 12 months. The successful candidate will work at our Centre for Fundamental Rights and will be responsible all communications related activities for the research project Algorithmic Fairness for Asylum Seekers and Refugees (AFAR).
The AFAR research project is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation as part of its “Challenges for Europe” programme.
Your profile:
- University degree in communications or a related field.
- Initial professional experience in tasks relevant to the position.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in website management tools and graphic design software for promotional materials.
- Proficiency in recording and editing videos for promotional use, including familiarity with relevant software and techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong writing abilities and experience in text editing.
- Familiarity with current debates in human rights, particularly concerning new technologies and human rights.
