Type of employment : Contractual for one year (extendable) (Full time)
Honorarium : Lumpsum 60,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications and Experience :
- i) A post-graduate degree from a recognized University Preferably in Law, Journalism or Mass Media with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade, preferable in Journalism.
- ii) 2 years’ experience of public relations services. Preferably in a University or an Institution of higher learning.
iii) Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English language.
- iv)Should be able to liaise with press, electronic media, Law firms, Advocates, Courts etc.
- v) Should be able to prepare publicity material and prepare press releases / notes.
Age Limit: Preferably below 40 Years
Application Fee: Rs.1000/-. SC, ST and SAP candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Job Description
- Assist with all internal and external communications for the University;
- Create high-quality content for various channels of communication, including website, newsletters, social media platforms and media outreach;
- Help coordinate with various internal stakeholders like research centres, People and Culture Office, Alumni Office, University Development Office, etc. for curating content, generating new ideas and dissemination of University updates as they happen;
- Coordinate and manage outputs from external stakeholders, including web developers, designers, photographers etc.;
- Assisting with the development and implementation of communications plans for specific projects, including outreach, events, and social media
- Help ensure research activities are represented in an accurate, relevant and timely manner;
- Track and manage analytics of all communication platforms;
- Monitor the University’s social media and online presence;
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner including coordinating with the press/media
- Any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
