Call For Book Reviews! Manchester Journal of transnational islaMic law & Practice! Submit Now!
We would like to invite reviewers to review a number of recently published books that may be of interest to the Islamic Law scholars and researchers. Books will be allocated for review on a first-come-first-served basis and you would have about one month to carry out the review. If you are interested in reviewing one of these books, please email Dr Khaled Bashir ([email protected]) which book you are interested in reviewing and we will arrange for a copy (paper or online format) to be sent to you.
Submission Guidelines
• Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format
• Manuscripts should be double-spaced (including quotations, excerpts, and footnotes)
• To facilitate our anonymous review process, submissions are to be prepared for anonymous review. Include a cover page with the author’s name, affiliation, title, and email address.
• Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and when used should follow OSCOLA referencing guide. Deadline for submission of review for the forthcoming Issue.
Deadline
Our publication timelines are the 1st of January, April, July, and October every year. Please send us your review two months before each date so we can include it in the subsequent Issue.
