About Zenith
Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment is a non-profit organization working on grassroots legal empowerment of Adivasi, Dalit, and other marginalized communities in Madhya Pradesh. Zenith works with the community to build their capacity to understand their legal rights, define their ideas of change, and take appropriate measures to bring a more just and dignified life.
Areas of Work
- Litigation, case management, and documentation.
- Field visits to nearby villages.
- Research on social welfare law – RTI, SC/ST Act, Forest Right Act, Women’s safety law etc.
- Assisting in designing and conducting training and legal awareness camps
About the Internship
Zenith is opening applications for an internship for students and recent graduates interested in socio-legal work for September/October. The internship will take place at Shivpuri/ Gwalior office offering practical experience in legal empowerment and community engagement.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law or social sciences.
- Proficiency in English and preferably in Hindi.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
- Resourcefulness, initiative, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
