ABOUT SCHOOL OF LAW
The School of Law at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, administered by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), is recognized as one of the premier law schools in India. ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Legal Aid and Awareness Committee (LAAC) at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR Campus is excited to introduce “The National Legal Aid Clinic Convention: Panel Discussion and Best Practices Competition, 2024” (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) scheduled on 24th August 2024. The conclave will be conducted in offline mode by the Legal Aid and Awareness Committee, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Delhi NCR Campus. The Conclave will include three components:
- Panel Discussion
- Annual Report of Legal Aid and Awareness Committee
- Presentation
ELIGIBILITY
- All law colleges/ institutions/ universities across the country recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the Competition. All participants must be members of Legal Aid and Awareness Committee (“LAAC”) or LSC/LAC of their law college.
- Such members must be students either from three years or five years of LL.B courses.
- Each college is allowed to be represented only by one team, consisting of two of its members along with the Faculty Convenor for the presentation of reports during the competition.
