About the Fellowships:

The Erin & John Collins Arsenault Doctoral Fellowship and Erin & John Collins Arsenault LLM Fellowship are prestigious opportunities for exceptional individuals from around the world pursuing advanced degrees in the field of space governance and law. These fellowships are designed to support and encourage talented students who are dedicated to advancing the cause of sustainable space governance and promoting cooperation, collaboration, and democratization in space-related endeavors.

Eligibility and Application Process:

Applicants are invited to submit a 1-page statement, research proposal, and CV to the Institute of Air and Space Law. The research proposal and CV should be the same as those submitted with your application to the Faculty of Law. The statement should address why the candidate is a good fit for the fellowship, considering their background, research interests, and goals. In addition to these documents, applicants must follow the regular application procedures of the Faculty of Law. Only students who are admitted by the Faculty of Law will be considered for a fellowship.

All fellowship applications must be submitted to [email protected] with the subject line “Application for Collins-Arsenault LL.M Fellowship” or “Application for Collins-Arsenault Doctoral Fellowship” by the application deadline below. Applications sent to any other email address will not be considered.

Key Dates:

• McGill Faculty of Law Application Deadline: 1 December 2024 (all documents except for the research proposal must be uploaded by this date)

• McGill Faculty of Law Research Proposal Deadline: 20 December 2024

• Fellowship Application Deadline: 20 December 2024
