Climate Change Hackathon, 2025! 11th and 12th January, 2025 in virtual mode! GNLU Centre for Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Justice!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Climate Change Hackathon, 2025 taking place on 11th and 12th January, 2025 in virtual mode. The Hackathon will be exploring digital health solutions to combat climate change-induced health issues in India. To participate, you just need an idea and a team of upto 4 students from undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD programs of any academic discipline. Cross university teams are permitted.
We have exciting prizes of upto INR 50,000 in store for the winners of the event. Winners will also have the chance to publish their report in collaboration with us for further reach in order to spread awareness and truly make a difference. Other important details are as follows:
- Registration and Proposal Submission Deadline: 15th December, 2024
- Communication of Shortlisting: 25th December, 2024
- Final Presentation: 11th-12th January, 2025
- Registration Fee: INR 500/- per team
In order to provide a foundation to the role of digital health in addressing climate change in India, we have also organized a webinar “Climate Change and Digital Health: Exploring the Nexus” on 10th November, 2024 at 6:00 PM IST in collaboration with Transform Health for the DigitalHealthWeek, 2024. This webinar promises to be an extremely informative and innovative discussion with distinguished speakers from around the globe providing different perspectives to have a more comprehensive understanding of the issue.
