Research Workshop on the Protection of Human Rights in the Context of Armed Conflict

Call for Papers – Research Workshop on the Protection of Human Rights in the Context of Armed Conflict. The Centre for Fundamental Rights at the Hertie School, the Essex Armed Conflict and Crisis Hub and the Human Rights Centre at the University of Essex, and the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict and the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at the University of Oxford are inviting abstract submissions for one day research workshop to be held on 13 June 2025 at the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany. The deadline for submitting abstracts of no more than 500 words is 3 February 2025. After the initial selection of proposals, participants will be invited to submit draft papers between 8,000 and 10,000 words by 2 June 2025.
