About the Seminar

The Asian Forum for International Academic Interaction (AFIAI) in association with UTTARA UNIVERSITY, Bangladesh is organizing a five-day online seminar titled “Contemporary Challenges and Innovations in Alternative Dispute Resolution: Bridging Theory and Practice,” aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among academics, legal professionals, students, and corporate stakeholders. As Asia emerges as a pivotal region for ADR development, with its diverse legal traditions and economic priorities, the seminar will explore both conventional and innovative ADR methods, from mediation and arbitration to cutting-edge digital solutions. By addressing interdisciplinary perspectives, such as the ethical implications of AI and community conflict management, the seminar seeks to deepen participants’ understanding of ADR’s evolving role while equipping them with practical skills through workshops and sessions on negotiation and complex arbitration. Additionally, the event aims to inspire new research, promote collaborative networking, and prepare participants to address modern ADR challenges, bridging the gap between theory and practice in personal, corporate, and international disputes.

PROCEDURE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Participants are invited to submit an abstract (250-350 words) as an attachment in a Word file. All abstracts will undergo a double blind peer review process before acceptance. Along with the abstract, the following information must be provided in the given format:

Publication Opportunity

All submitted papers will undergo blind peer review and plagiarism check. Selected papers will be considered for reputed publication with an ISBN/Selected papers will be considered for publication with an open access doi, for maximum visibility and citation for the work.
