HUMAN.DROITS is an advocacy platform that sparks discussion on human rights issues and socio-legal developments At HUMAN.DROITS, we ignite conversations and catalyse actions on the most pressing issues. From tackling gender-based crimes to addressing the complexities of intersectional violence against women, we are dedicated to working on advocacy at the international level, driving reforms, creating awareness and reclaiming our collective humanity.
About the Opportunity
We are currently working on a project on the intersectionality of sexual violence against women in South Asia, targeting countries including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka & Pakistan. The project is aligned with United Nations SDG 5.1 (End all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere) & 5.2 (Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking, sexual and other types of exploitation).
Eligibility
- Be pursuing a law degree from a recognised Indian institution or be a recent graduate.
- Possess analytical and research skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for creative and engaging writing.
- Show interest in human rights and humanitarian law.
Responsibilities
- Preparing research notes on topics related to intersectionality in South Asia.
- Writing blogs addressing intersectional issues.
