About the Opportunity

IDC India is seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our dynamic team at IDC India in New Delhi. This is a full-time internship position ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in legal roles. The position level is Junior. The Legal Intern will be involved in various legal activities, providing crucial support to our legal team, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities

Conducting thorough Legal Research to support various cases and legal issues.
Reviewing and analyzing documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Assisting in the preparation of legal documents including briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
Providing legal analysis for ongoing cases and offering recommendations based on findings.
Communicating with clients to gather information and explain legal proceedings.
Attending courtroom sessions to observe and learn about legal practices and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and corporate policies.
Collaborating with team members to share knowledge and contribute to group projects.

Eligibility

Legal Research & Document Review (Mandatory skill).
Proficiency in Legal Writing is essential for drafting accurate and clear legal documents.
Experience in Case Analysis to identify key facts and legal issues.
Strong Client Communication skills to interact with clients and ascertain their legal needs.
Exposure to Courtroom Observation to understand legal procedures and protocols.
Understanding of Legal Compliance to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Ability for Team Collaboration to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to team goals.
