About the Organisation

Ameya, The Empowerment Initiative is a platform dedicated to advancing women’s legal rights and ensuring access to justice. Our mission is to empower women through in-depth research and innovative projects that outline actionable strategies for systemic change.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on issues impacting women’s rights and legal justice.
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize data to support actionable policy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members in sessions and project development meetings.

6-8 hours per week. Flexible arrangements can be discussed based on academic commitments.

Eligibility

  • 2nd, 3rd & 4th year law students eager to dive into legal research and women’s rights.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine drive for social justice and legal empowerment.
  • Ready to commit to a long-term internship.

Duration

  • Minimum – 3 months
  • Maximum – Extension based on performance and requirements.
