Call for Papers: “Gender Justice Contemporary Issues and Emerging Challenges”, Submission Deadline- 15 March 2025

St. Joseph’s College of Law (SJCL), Bengaluru is hosting a Conference on “Gender Justice – Contemporary Issues and Emerging Challenges (Hybrid)” on 9th May, 2025. Hybrid presentation is available only for participants residing outside Bengaluru, while Bengaluru-based participants must attend in person. The conference will focus on Gender Justice, exploring the challenges, dynamics, and legal frameworks necessary to ensure a just and equal society for all genders.

Sub-Themes:

  • Gender and Law: Legal frameworks for gender justice.
  • Gender Discrimination in the Workplace: Examining barriers to gender equality in employment and leadership.
  • Violence against Women and Marginalized Genders: Legal mechanisms to protect women, transgender, and non-binary individuals from violence.
  • LGBTQ+ Rights and Recognition: Legal recognition and protection for gender minorities.
  • Reproductive Rights and Gender Justice: Access to healthcare and reproductive rights as a form of gender justice.
  • Gender in Education: The role of education in promoting or hindering gender equality etc.

Call for Papers

The Authors: Academicians, Jurists, Social Scientists, Professionals, Analyst, Researchers, Students, Activists, Entrepreneurs, etc., National or International are invited to contribute an original paper on the theme. The articles shall be blind peer-reviewed and plagiarism checked before publication after the conference is conducted. The authors are suggested to send their creative with not more than 10 percent similarity as per UGC rules.

  • ·In-Person Presentation: All participants based in Bengaluru are required to attend the conference in person.
  • ·Hybrid Option: Participants residing outside Bengaluru can opt for online presentations.

  • Intimation of Selection of Papers for Presentation by April 15th, 2025
