About the Project
The PROBONO project is funded by the ERC for five years in the period 2025-2029. The project investigates how big law firms impact transnational human rights advocacy through their pro bono work, led by project leader Nina Reiners. One postdoc and two PhD students will join the team in 2026.
About the position
We are recruiting one research assistant in a part-time (50%) position for one year, preferably from April 2025 to March 2026, and with possible extension. The job offers varied experiences with project work, data collection, the research process more generally, and a very dynamic and friendly research group. The RA will be able to work on exciting topics that can potentially serve as a point of departure for MA or PhD theses in Law or the Social Sciences, if desired.
The research assistants will be assigned different tasks, such as:
- Manual and automated «coding» of different features of big law firms’ pro bono activities (global)
- Literature searches and reviews
- Web-scraping and dataset building
- Data preparation and analysis in R or Stata
- Administrative tasks (budgeting, reporting, organizing workshops, etc.)

Interview

Start/end date
