Call for Applications: for the post of Professor of Practice (Full Time) at Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law
Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law invites applications for 1 (ONE) position of Professor of Practice (Full Time). We are looking for an experienced legal professional to bring industry insights, practical expertise, and leadership to our academic initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 15+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer, either in independent practice, a law firm, or in-house counsel (as per UGC regulations).
Ability to relocate to Gandhinagar, Gujarat for a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industry-Academia Collaborations: Lead partnerships with law firms, corporates, and legal organizations to strengthen practical legal education.
2. Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with Prof. (Dr.) Avinash Dadhich, Director of Dhirubhai Ambani University – School of Law to develop cutting-edge legal programs and professional training modules.
3. Benefits: Candidates will be afforded standard employment benefits such as family medical health insurance, 2 months’ academic leave (summer & winter), EL, CL & gratuity.
4. Consultancy & Practice: Professors of Practice may continue independent legal practice and consultancy, retaining 80% of their consultancy income.
Remuneration
Up to INR 36,00,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
