Call for paper: Human papillomavirus and health

Human papillomavirus and health

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a prevalent and clinically significant virus that infects mucosal and cutaneous epithelium. With over 200 distinct genotypes identified, HPV effects may range from benign warts to high-risk types which may lead to cancers. Epidemiological studies have indicated a rising incidence of HPV-associated cancers, therefore it is important to understand the advances in molecular diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.

This Collection welcomes original research on the mechanisms of human papillomavirus, including the research on the human papillomavirus diagnosis and therapy.
