How do we ensure the sustainable development of human rights? What does that at all entail, and how does it play out in the specific context of the European Court of Human Rights? That is, how does the hashtagECtHR protect and advance human rights while navigating legal, political, and institutional constraints?
With generous support from the Carlsberg Foundation, Amalie Frese and I are organizing a workshop at iCourts University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law to explore these questions, and we warmly invite scholars working in this space to submit abstracts and join us in wintery Copenhagen this Decemberโ๏ธ
We welcome both theoretical and empirical contributions, and especially encourage interdisciplinary approaches.
