THE INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING

In observance of 26th June – International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, this international webinar aims to enrich the legal-academic discourse on safeguarding children from trafficking and substance abuse. It seeks to engage diverse stakeholders in
reaffirming a rights-based approach towards child protection within complex socio-legal contexts.

OBJECTIVES :
• Analysis of all Laws around the globe protecting Children from drug abuse and illicit trafficking
• To commemorate the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking by raising awareness of its impact on vulnerable children.
• To analyse the legal frameworks that address human trafficking and child exploitation, especially during crises and emergencies.
To examine statutory protections under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 in relation to drug abuse among minors.
• To equip students, academicians, and practitioners with practical insights and policy perspectives to strengthen child welfare measures.

REGISTRATION FEE:
₹100/- for Students
₹200/- for Faculty Members

E-Certificates will be issued to all registered participants.
