In the direction to achieve the mission, the School seeks to prepare students for the practice of law in India and abroad with a goal to instill in every student a respect for the rule of law, a devotion to the ideal of public service, and a commitment to basic professional values: honesty, diligence, competence, intelligence, and civility. 1. Tell us about the academic and extra-curricular programs at your school. What is your USP (unique selling point), or what makes your institute stand apart from others?

Well, for any of the Law schools or otherwise to it is important that how its academic goes on, What methodology the school adopts, and how it is supported by the extra-curricular activities as the extra-curricular activities make a student ready to fit in the related industry. We at our Law School have the syllabi as per the recommendation of BCI and adopted Outcome Based Learning System as per CBCS. Also, we understand that the law is a very dynamic subject and the changes are possible to happen frequently through legislature or Judiciary, the syllabuses of all the programs are being reviewed every year through a rigorous procedure and incorporate the latest amendments or updation. As far as the extra-curricular activities are concerned, we made it mandatory to all our students to participate in Intra-Moot Court Competitions, Debate Competition and all other activities being happened in the school through the clubs constituted for that purpose. Apart from that, the students are being sent for mandatory Internships with Leading Law Firms/Advocates/Judges of the High Court’s/NGOs and other Governmental Organizations like NHRC, SHRC, National/State Commission for Women, Commission for SC/STs, NGTs. Kunwar Shekhar Vijyendra Ji, Hon’ble Chancellor and co-founder of the University who saw the seed of the school and it is the untiring support, blessings and the vision of him that now we can see growing this tree horizontally and vertically and fruiting too. As success we may see many of the law graduates are serving in the legal field in India and abroad. Apart from this there is a strong team of the advisors of the school who are also instrumental in the success of the school who are constantly advising us for the betterment of our law school.

  1. What struggles have you faced in the earlier days of its inception? What challenges are your staff and administration facing right now?

Well, the struggles and challenges are the part of journey and I think if struggles and challenges are not there, you cannot enjoy the success of any organization.

As I have mentioned that we started the journey to start the law school considering the long felt demand of quality legal education and considered the fact that there is a huge demand of quality law professionals in India and globally so our founders thought to start a fresh school of thought in Meerut region which is surrounded by the villages and there is a demand of well versed legal professionals in the country so we started the law school with our university’s vision to Empower the Nation through Education. We too have faced a lot of challenges but we overcame those challenges.

  1. What is the secret to success in the cutthroat legal sector? What training strategies have you implemented to prepare your students for the same?

There is no secret or short cut to success but it is the result of untiring hard works done with honesty by the eminent team of the School. As far as the strategies and trainings are concerned we made it mandatory to our students that they have to go for internships in each of their semesters and have to participate in three intra-moots in each semester and to participate in extra-curricular activities so that they can have a better understanding about the legal profession and the requirements. Apart from this, as I have earlier mentioned that the syllabi of all the programs are being reviewed every year and the latest amendments and updates are incorporated in the curriculum. Also the school organizes various expert lectures on the Contemporary legal issues so that the students can have better understanding about law.  Apart from the above, the school has created various clubs, houses and developed a mentor-mentee program where the students can share their concerns with their mentors and can seek the solution of any of the problem be it academic, personal or otherwise too.

We will think ourselves fortunate if we could contribute in nation building through our law graduates as we firmly believe that the youth of today is the future of any nation and the fate of the nation depends on them so we are ready to inculcate the spirit of obedience, honesty and diligence along with hardworking sprit so that when they will be in profession, they can perform their duties with honesty and can take up the nation where our forefathers dreamed.

As a law school we see ourselves in future that we can suggest the law making bodies what type of law the society is required.
