LSU Law Journal for Social Justice & Policy
The LSU Law Journal for Social Justice & Policy is currently soliciting submissions for its symposium, “Conspiracy Theories, Disinformation, and Civil Rights.” The symposium will be held virtually and open to the public on October 8, 2021. Submissions should discuss conspiracy theories, disinformation, civil rights, or the relationship between any two or all three of these topics.
LJSJP seeks to elevate underrepresented voices in legal academia and to confront pressing social justice issues of the day. Academics at all levels and in all disciplines (not just law) are encouraged to apply.
Interested applicants should send an abstract (300 words max) to [email protected] by August 12, 2021. Selected applicants will be informed by August 26, 2021. Several months after the symposium, LJSJP will publish the symposium participants’ essays (5,000-10,000 words) online in its second issue.
