OVERVIEW OF THE MEDIATION TRAINING PROGRAM
The Clinics Committee, School of Law, Bennett University is organising a 5 Day Mediation Training Program from 21st -23rd July 2023 & 28th -29th July 2023 in Collaboration with Samadhan(Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre). Mediation provides a substitute to the conventional methods of resolving disputes. It offers to resolve various types of matters including civil, commercial, industrial, and family etc., where litigation takes years to settle the disputes. It is a method which enables individuals and groups to maintain co-operation, social order and provides opportunity to reduce hostility. The training Program aims to enable participants to acquire comprehensive understanding of Mediation keeping in view the requirements of Section 89 of Civil Procedure Code, 1908 and other statutory enactments requiring use of mediation as an effective tool for dispute resolution.
The Mediation Training Program aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to
become effective mediators. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of mediation principles, facilitates the development of essential mediation skills, and prepares participants to facilitate the mediation process in various contexts. The trainers from Samadhan will provide training to the participants by using different methodologies like role play, group discussion, and problem-based learning.

The Five Day Mediation Training Program will take place from 21st – 23rd July 2023 & 28th – 29th July 2023 in Collaboration with Samadhan (Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre) at the School of Law, Bennett University (The Times Group) Campus, Greater Noida.

Eligibility:
Participation is open to all academicians, PhD Scholars, Researchers, Lawyers, Students, and any other professionals who intend to pursue a career in Mediation.
