The Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and the Conflict and Crisis Hub at the University of Essex are pleased to announce a new format for their annual joint conference on Current Issues in Armed Conflict. The conference has three objectives: To provide a space for debate and discussion on current issues in armed conflict under international law, with a broad spectrum of topics including international humanitarian law (IHL), international refugee law, international criminal law (ICL), and transitional justice.
Application Process
- Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words and a brief CV, including a list of relevant publications, in PDF by 25 August 2023 to [email protected].
- Kindly note that only one abstract per author will be considered.
- The papers will be selected by a board of experts Applicants will be informed of the selection committee’s decision no later than 15 September 2023.
