PES University, located in Bengaluru, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The Faculty of Law, PES University was established in the year 2017, under the able guidance of Hon’ble Founder and Chancellor, Dr. M.R Doreswamy, with a vision of establishing a global law school. It offers a five-year integrated BBA LL. B (Hons.) and BA LL.B (Hons.) program with specializations in the areas of corporate law, constitutional law, criminal law, and intellectual property law inter alia. The program has been innovatively designed to cater to the growing challenges and complexities of the dynamic legal environment.

- Date of the event: 26th and 27th of October, 2023
- Venue: 100 Feet Ring Road, Banashankari Stage III, Dwaraka Nagar, Banashankari, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560085
- Eligibility: The Conference Committee invites law students, academicians, professionals, and research scholars from across the country to submit original, unpublished manuscripts, along with an abstract, for presentation in Séminaire Juridique to contribute to the discourse happening across two days.

- students – ₹1000 per author and ₹1500 for co-authors
- Academicians/Research scholars – ₹2000 per author and ₹1500 for co-authors

- Abstract Submission: All submissions for the seminar have to be electronically mailed with the subject as “Submission of Abstract/Paper Title”, as the case may be, and bearing the name(s) of the author(s) as the file names, only at the following addresses: [email protected] and [email protected]

- Day 1: Decoding the Newfangled Issues in Criminal Law
- Awards: It is proposed that select manuscripts from the conference proceedings will be published with an ISBN. The following awards shall be presented for each Theme:
- 1st Best Paper Presenter – ₹5000 and Certificate of merit
- 2nd Best Paper Presenter – ₹3000 and Certificate of merit
- Certificate of participation shall be awarded to all the registered participants.
