About The InternshipSelected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conduct research on various legal topics relevant to the startup’s industry, operations, and challenges which could include researching statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents to support the legal team’s decision-making
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts, agreements, and legal documents which include contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and employees
- Help in managing the startup’s intellectual property, such as trademarks, copyrights, and patents
- Assist the legal team in ensuring the startup’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations which could involve researching compliance requirements, helping prepare compliance documentation, and assisting in internal audits
