About the Opportunity
They seek a Legal Consultant for OLX Autos to support their high-growth business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- General Corporate – assisting the legal team with drafting and vetting agreements such as services agreements, lease agreements, purchase orders, etc., and drafting letters, and responses to user complaints, notices, etc.
- Contract and litigation management –Record keeping and ensuring effective management of contracts. Keeping a record of all litigations, arbitrations, police matters, etc.
- Legal and corporate secretarial compliances – assisting the legal team in compliance with corporate, employment, and other applicable laws.
- Legal research – assisting the legal team in relation to conducting case law and other research on legal positions on different issues.
- Liaison with external lawyers and litigation monitoring – coordinating with local consultants in relation to the company’s outstanding litigation, completing legal formalities in relation to legal documentation, regulatory support, LEA, police complaints, etc.
- Legal Notices, Police Complaints, representations, letters, etc. – drafting, sending, and filing legal notices, police complaints, representations, letters, etc.
- Advisory–conducting legal analysis, providing legal advice and opinions as and when needed by the Company.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Excellent command of the English language and English grammar. This is a must. We will take a written test.
- Generalist lawyer who can handle drafting, corporate advisory, and litigation management (not actual litigation).
