ABOUT The Organiser:
The Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE) was founded in 1957 by a distinguished group of academicians and public intellectuals engaged in promoting the study of labour and industrial relations. The group was headed by the ex-President of India Shri V.V. Giri and comprised of some of the biggest names in academia.
Over the years ISLE has organised and hosted several workshops, seminars and training programmes to this end – the most prominant of these, the ISLE Annual conference has been held in an unbroken chain for the last 60 years. ISLE also brings out the much respected Indian Journal of Labour Economics and brings out numerous other publications related to the study of Labour Economics.
The Details Of The Event:
- Date of the event: 29th-31th March 2024
- Venue: University Of Hyderabad, Telangana
- Eligibility: The Conference is open to academicians, professionals, development practitioners, civil society members, etc., interested in labour, employment, and development issues. They are welcome to contribute papers and/or participate in the Conference.
- Registration Fee:
- The Conference registration includes payment towards the Conference kit (comprising Book of Abstracts, Printed copies of Presidential Address, Keynote Papers, Plenary Lectures, conference programme, conference bag, stationery, etc.), and modest accommodation and meals (Breakfast, Tea, Lunches and Dinners) served during the Conference days.
- Those registering after the deadline of 10 February 2024 need to arrange their own accommodation and transportation.
