KR Mangalam University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Development Manager to lead our student career development initiatives. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the career readiness and professional skills of our students, preparing them for successful careers post-graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development: Develop and implement innovative training programs focused on career skills, including workshops, seminars, and webinars.
2. Career Counseling: Provide career counseling and guidance to students, helping them understand and navigate their career paths.
3. Industry Collaboration: Collaborate with industry professionals and organizations to design training programs that align with current market trends and demands.
4. Curriculum Design: Work with faculty to integrate career development modules into the university curriculum.
5. Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
6. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of career counselors and trainers.
7. Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the successful execution of training programs.
8. Student Engagement: Actively engage with students to understand their needs and aspirations, tailoring programs to maximize impact.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in training and development, career counseling, or a related role, preferably in an educational setting.
3. Strong understanding of career development theories and practices.
4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
5. Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, faculty, and industry professionals.
7. Knowledge of current job market trends and employer expectations.
