societal transformation at the grassroots.
With 50,000 + office bearers across 2500+ councils in 300+ Sectors develop different areas
of focus and diverse endeavours to mainstream women’s voices and uphold women’s interest
in policy making at multiple levels.
Representing a wide variety of sectors of industry, economy and society, WICCI actively
engages the voice of thousands of women entrepreneurs and professionals.
Our manifold and multifaceted Councils at National, Regional, State, City and Bilateral
levels, along with the 3 National Boards (Governing, Advisory and Executive) suggest from
time to time concrete steps and recommendations to relevant government authorities and
institutions to empower women-owned businesses to become more competitive.

About Punjab Legal Rights Consortium
The Punjab Legal Rights Consortium (PLRC) is the State consortium under the umbrella of National Legal Rights Consortium (NLRC). The Punjab chapter of NLRC is dedicated towards the legal awareness and legal education. It aims to organize camps in collaboration with the local organization and law enforcement bodies in the State.
Role of members of Punjab Legal Rights Consortium
Members of the Punjab Legal Rights Consortium are tasked with conducting in-depth socio-legal research and collaborating closely with the State President and Vice President to spearhead the development and expansion of the Punjab chapter within NLRC-WICCI. Their primary responsibilities include supporting the Vice President in liaising with legislators, government bodies, legal professionals, and local communities to advance the organization’s goal of safeguarding and enhancing legal rights throughout the state. Additionally, members are expected to coordinate and oversee a range of activities such as legal rights campaigns, awareness initiatives, pro bono assistance projects, reform endeavors, and community programs administered by the chapter.
