Call for Abstracts! THE 1ST ANNUAL INTERDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE ON GENDER VIOLENCE, ACCESS TO JUSTICE AND THE LAW IN INDIA 2024!
7-8 December 2024
The Centre for Women’s Rights at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University and The Prajnya Trust welcome abstract submissions for the 1st Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Gender Violence, Access to Justice and the Law in India 2024. The theme for this inaugural conference is “Judgment Analysis and Judicial Trends.” The conference will be held online on 7-8 December 2024. A selection of papers presented at the conference will be published in a peer-reviewed academic journal or an edited book.
Eligibility
- Abstracts are invited from academics and researchers working in the fields of law, sociology, anthropology, psychology, human geography, economics, political science and related disciplines, as well as legal and civil society practitioners.
- We especially welcome submissions from post-graduate students and other early-career scholars, as well as individuals from marginalised backgrounds.
Please note that abstracts indicating a black letter law approach are not likely to be accepted.
Conference Proposals
Please submit abstracts here https://cutt.ly/gvc24. Abstracts should be 150-200 words maximum. Abstracts must include the central research question(s) and an overview of the paper’s key argument(s) and methodology.
