CONFERENCE THEME:

DECOLONIZING LAW AND JUSTICE: EMBRACING DIVERSE PERSPECTIVES OF INTERNATIONAL LAW INLCUING CLIMATE JUSTICE

The 3rd International Conference of AALP will focus on emerging issues related to the theme of Decolonizing Law and Justice: Embracing Diverse Perspectives of International Law including Climate Justice. The theme addresses critical and evolving issues in the field of law and justice by focusing on how traditional views can be challenged and broadened.

CALL FOR PAPERS 

Aspirant participants may present papers on any of the above themes and must send an abstract of 400 words along with a brief biographical note (not more than 100 words) before September 10, 2024. The acceptance of the paper for presentation will be informed by September 20, 2024. Upon acceptance, an extended write-up of a minimum of 2,000 words (not exceeding 8,000 words) must be sent by October 30, 2024, in the format as per the Kathmandu School of Law Style guide or other international rules. If the extended write-up is not submitted before the last date, organizers may rescind it to allow the paper to be presented at the conference.

Submission of the extended write-up will be considered as the author’s unconditional consent for a possible subsequent publication by the organizers. The best article will be published in the Journal of Kathmandu School of Law, Asian Journal of International Affairs and journals published by member institutions. The paper thus presented will be certified as a ‘official conference paper.’
