About the Competition
In continuation of its legacy, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, is honoured to announce the 9th edition of its biannual National Moot, the SVVV Moot Court Competition, 2024, which will be held in collaboration with the Manupatra, Judiciary Gold, Knowledge Steez & CodeF.
The moot is scheduled to take place from 21st November 2024 to 23rd November 2024 in an offline format at the Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya campus.
This competition has earned its reputation as India’s premier law moot over several years. Esteemed judges such as Indore High Court Judge (Retd.) R.K Verma, Gujarat High Court Judge (Retd.) B.N. Karia, Public Prosecutor Shushila Rathore, ADPO Kostubh Pathak, Atulya Saraf and Senior High Court Advocate Aman Singh Rathore among others, have graced previous editions. The competition attracts the brightest legal minds from law schools across the country, with over 40 teams participating in the last edition.

Eligibility
- Students currently enrolled in LL.B. Degree Courses (3 years/5 years).
- A team is not permitted to have members from more than one institution.
- No more than one team may represent an institution.

Registration Fees
- The registration fee for the Moot Court Competition comprising at most 3 members is INR 4,500.
- All the teams shall be required to pay INR 4,500 via online bank transfer before the deadline to register for Stage 1, i.e. Memorial Evaluation Rounds.
- Early Bird Offer: 10% discount to the first 5 participating teams.
Note: The amount of Social Night is excluded from the registration fees, and those who are interested shall inform the Head of Execution on the date of arrival.

Prize Pool
- Winning Team Award: The winning team will receive a trophy and cash prize of INR 21,000 along with a Manupatra Academic course and certificate courses by CodeF.
- Runners-Up Team Award: The runners-up team will receive a trophy and a cash prize of INR 11,000, along with a Manupatra Academic course and certificate courses by CodeF.
- Best Mooter: The Best Mooter will receive a cash prize of INR 3,000
- The team with the Best Memorial will receive a cash prize of INR 3,000.
- Best Researcher will receive a cash prize of INR 3,000.
- All participating teams will be provided with a certificate of participation or merit as per the team’s performance.
