Submissions are invited on any topic of contemporary relevance in the area of International Environmental Law.
Eligibility :
The entries are open to all law undergraduate and postgraduate students, industry practitioners, academicians and research scholars.
Categories :
Submissions may be in the form of the following categories –
- Articles: An Article must comprehensively analyse a specific issue. It must study or evaluate the status quo, indicate any lacunae therein, and suggest potential solutions. It may also employ a comparative, historical or multi-disciplinary approach to strengthen the author’s argument. An Article must
strictly be within the 6000 to 10000-word limit, exclusive of footnotes and a bibliography. - Essays: Essays are more concise in terms of scope and conceptualisation. An Essay must strictly be within the 4000 to 6000- word limit, exclusive of footnotes and bibliography.
- Case Notes and/or Legislative Commentaries: Notes and commentaries discuss or critique a recent judgement, landmark case or any recent legislation or bill before parliament or a state legislature. A Note/Commentary must strictly be within the 1500 to 3000-word limit, exclusive of footnotes and bibliography.
Submission Guidelines :
- Abstract Word Limit: 300 words;
- Authorship: Co-authorship allowed up to 2 authors;
- Method of Citation: Harvard Bluebook 20th Edition;
- Font: Times New Roman;
- Font Size: 12 for the Body of the Manuscript; 10 for the Footnotes;
- Line Spacing: 1.5 for the Body of the Manuscript; 1 for the Footnotes;
- Alignment: Justified;
- Plagiarism: A plagiarism percentage of 10 % is acceptable. Manuscripts having a plagiarism percentage above this threshold will be rejected unless decided otherwise by the Editorial Board.

Deadline :
The last date to submit your manuscript for the ‘GLC-SPIL ILJ Volume V’ is 15th December 2024. Submissions sent after the deadline will not be considered for publication.
