The In-House Legal Intern will assist the legal department in various functions, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. Eligibility
- Recently graduated in the field of Law.
- Strong understanding of civil law, particularly Recovery Order 37 CPC.
- Excellent drafting and research skills.
- Familiarity with business law concepts and strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review MOUs and other agreements. Research relevant legal precedents and ensure agreements align with company policies.
- Prepare and edit legal documents, including contracts, notices, and briefs. Ensure all documents comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Research civil law matters, specifically related to Recovery Order 37 CPC. Analyze case law and provide summaries to support ongoing legal matters.
- Support the development of strategies for business law initiatives. Assist in identifying potential legal risks and opportunities related to business operations.
- Help maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and audits.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed. Attend legal meetings and take notes to assist with follow-up tasks.
