The Institute for Ethics in AI provides Visiting Fellowships annually. Applications are now open for the academic year 2025/26.
The Institute for Ethics in AI at the University of Oxford proposes to elect three Visiting Fellows each academic year. The Visiting Fellowship is intended to offer an established scholar or practitioner in an AI-related field the opportunity to engage in a project related to the ethics of Artificial Intelligence. The length of tenure of the fellowship is one academic term (three months). Applications are encouraged from candidates from all countries and all universities. Applications from under-represented groups within their respective disciplines are particularly encouraged.
It is anticipated that the Institute will proceed to elections in January/February 2025, and the three successful applicants will take up their fellowship during one of the three terms during the academic year 2025-26.
