Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes and regulations that will help attorneys build strong legal arguments.
- Review contracts, briefs, and legal documents to ensure accuracy. You’ll also draft memos, legal opinions, and summaries.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for client meetings, court hearings, and trials.
- Depending on the project, you may have the opportunity to participate in client meetings and learn about client management and counselling.
- Work on group projects, contribute to legal strategy discussions, and assist with firm initiatives.
