Call for Applications: for for the position of Legal Skills Instructor for academic year 2026-2027 at National University of Singapore, Faculty of Law
As a Legal Skills Instructor, you will teach first-year law students legal analysis, writing, research and communication for two semesters over a nine-month period. This is a part-time position beginning in August 2026 and ending in May 2027, and you will be expected to teach in person at NUS UTown campus. Classes during semester time (12 weeks) are twice a week, 1.5 hours per class. Each class will generally have up to 14 students.
As a Legal Skills Instructor, you will teach first-year law students legal analysis, writing, research and communication for two semesters over a nine-month period. Applicants should have at least an LLB, JD or other undergraduate law degree from a common law jurisdiction. Those with legal practice experience or teaching experience will have an added advantage.
Applicants should indicate whether they are able to teach in daytime classes or evening classes or both. We are particularly interested in candidates who are able to teach in the daytime.
