Call for Applications: for Fully-funded Inaugural Workshop on Anti-Caste and Adivasi Indigenous Perspectives on Law, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, 27–30 August 2026

The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair on Constitutional Law and Social Inclusion, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, invites applications for its Fully-funded Inaugural Workshop on Anti-Caste and Adivasi Indigenous Perspectives on Law scheduled to be held from 27–30 August 2026.

This four-day residential workshop seeks to create a focused space for young scholars to engage with critical questions of law, power, hierarchy, and justice through anti-caste and indigenous perspectives. The workshop is open to final-year undergraduate law students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, junior faculty, and early-career practitioners. Applications from scholars belonging to marginalized communities are especially encouraged.

The workshop shall be organized on the campus of the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. The University will provide accommodation to all selected candidates. Travel expenses from any city in India to and from Hyderabad shall be reimbursed upon submission of valid travel tickets.
