About the Fellowship Programme
The Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, invites applications for the Academic Fellows position (2026–28). The two-year fulltime Fellowship is designed for outstanding postgraduates in law and allied disciplines who are interested in pursuing careers in academia and researchThe programme seeks to cultivate the next generation of scholarsthrough intensive engagement with teaching, research, and institutional initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate:
• Assist in workshops, conferences, seminars and executive education programmes;
• Support interdisciplinary initiatives across schools and centres at JGLS;
• Participate in institutional outreach and academic networking activities.
• An outstanding academic record, advanced degree in LL.M or equivalent degree
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills;
• A demonstrated interest in academia, research and public policy; and
• The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.
The programme is particularly suited for:
• Recent graduates in law, social sciences, humanities or allied disciplines;
• Candidates pursuing or completing postgraduate degrees;
• Early-career professionals seeking to transition into academia or policy research;
• Practitioners and researchers interested in an academic sabbatical or interdisciplinary engagement.
Prior experience in research assistance, publications, mooting, editorial work, policy engagement, or teaching assistance will be an advantage.
Duration and Nature
Duration: Two Years (1+1) (2026–2028)
• Nature of Appointment: Full-Time, Contractual
• Location: JGLS Campus, Sonipat, Haryana
• Mode: In-Person (The Fellowship does not support remote or part-time engagement).
