About Faculty Development Program

This is an intensive One Week Faculty Development Program (FDP) specially designed to equip social science scholars and legal educators with the strategic tools and practical methods to help them deal with this change. The core of this program is the use of frameworks of Outcome Based Education (OBE), where the emphasis in education is placed on what students learn, understand and can demonstrate rather than what they are taught. The participants will immerse themselves in the process of designing the institutional curriculum and how to connect abstract legal theory and reality to professional practice. Faculty will develop strategies for building sound, clear measures for assessment, update the classroom experience, develop quality assurance measures that satisfy national regulatory requirements and international academic standards.
