About the Internship
This internship is a training programme at the LCMA Law Firm office, designed to provide practical exposure to legal practice and the functioning of a law firm. Interns will be involved in research, drafting, litigation (criminal, civil, matrimonial), mediation, writing and case analysis, assisting with ongoing matters and office work. The programme focuses on practice-oriented skill development including research, drafting, observation & active participation.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in criminal and civil litigation, matrimonial matters, and mediation
- Legal research and drafting exposure
- Engagement in legal writing and case analysis
- Assistance with ongoing legal matters and office workflow
- Opportunity for further internships and letters of recommendation based on performance
Eligibility
- Law students enrolled in 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated Law programmes
- Students from any year of study
- Genuine interest in litigation and practical legal work
- Ability and willingness to attend the office for duration and prescribed working hours
- Hardworking, disciplined with eagerness to learn
