About the Organisation
The Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL) at National Law University Delhi designs and conducts Certificate, Diploma and postgraduate courses on transnational comparative commercial law and practice. It also conducts seminars, conferences, workshops, debates, discussions, clinics and trainings. CTCL liaises with institutions, professionals, NGOs, governments, public authorities, industry and corporates to provide consultancy, conduct research and undertake projects.
About the Opportunity
CTCL is inviting applications for the position of Research & Teaching Associate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses, which primarily run on weekends.
- Provide research support for ongoing projects and related tasks.
- Research and compile information on specific areas and topics.
- Assist in documentation and preparation of project reports and Centre publications.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for the Centre’s activities.
Eligibility
- Degree in law, including LLB, LLM or PhD.
- At least one year of post-qualification academic or professional experience.
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills.
Duration and Nature of Appointment
This is a full-time contractual appointment for one year. The appointment may be extended subject to project requirements and performance.

Salary
₹50,000 month on consolidated basis, subject to a 10% TDS deduction & availability of CTCL funds.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed for selection. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the application materials submitted through the online form. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If a candidate does not hear from the University within two weeks after the deadline, the application may be considered unsuccessful.
