About the Internship & Training Program

The Internship offers candidates direct practical exposure at the intersection of law, artificial intelligence, and legal informatics. Interns and trainees will actively contribute to:

Structuring and indexing Indian jurisprudence datasets (Central/State statutes, Supreme Court, and High Court rulings).
Benchmarking Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models for legal accuracy and hallucination reduction.
Developing legal taxonomies and testing multi-lingual legal translation models.
Designing automated workflows for modern legal research and drafting.

Responsibilities

Categorising, tagging, and validating statutory provisions and case law precedents.
Evaluating AI Advocate’s search precision, citation grounding, and regional language translations.
Drafting case analyses, procedural guides, and modules on statutory interpretation.
Participating in internal legal research workshops and learning best practices for contemporary digital research.
Coordinating with legal practitioners and academicians to test workflows and document functional feedback.
Representing AI Advocate across law schools, hosting student awareness sessions, and promoting legal tech adoption.

Eligibility

Students currently pursuing or recent graduates of LL.B (3-Year / 5-Year integrated), LL.M, or allied interdisciplinary programs (Legal Informatics, Data Science, NLP with an interest in law).
Strong foundational knowledge of Indian statutory frameworks, procedural codes, and constitutional jurisprudence.
Sound analytical drafting, research, and communication abilities.
Demonstrated curiosity regarding LegalTech innovations, AI applications in research, and digital privacy.
