Indicative list of anticipated themes
Papers are sought from different perspectives focusing on conceptual issues and empirical studies, which could revolve around (but are not limited to), the following themes:
- Sustainable supply chains: material, component and systems performance (recycling & circular economy), reverse logistics supply chain management (RLSCM), closed-loop supply chains, advanced waste management practices and management, sustainability criteria, indicators, measurement and practices.
- Industry 4.0 and supply chain digitalisation: application Industry 4.0 technologies in operations, project delivery systems, mining operations and construction site logistics.
- Resilient supply chains and project delivery systems: end-to-end supply chain visibility and illumination, supply network modeling, supply chain collaborative practices and culture, risk management, frameworks for systemic and cascading risks.
- Organizational management, research methodologies and systemic innovations: sociopolitical, legal and regulatory, technological, market, and cultural enablers for transformative changes in extractive and construction sectors; leadership and management; stakeholder engagement.
- Case studies: application of organizational, legal and regulatory, and managerial frameworks to facilitate transformative changes and systemic innovations in extractive and construction sectors.
