Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur is a National Law University and a public law school established by the government through the Maharashtra National Law University Act. The university is the 19th National Law University established in India and is located in the Orange City of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
About the Society for Law and Economics
The Society for Law and Economics (SOCLE), an initiative of the Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur, aims to be a centre for excellence in generating and disseminating knowledge concerning the relationship between economics and law.
The Blog is a venture undertaken by the Society to bring before its readers academic content revolving around the unexplored dimensions of ‘Law and Economics’ as a discipline. The Blog aims to bring forth discussions to the forefront, providing its readers with a unique and fresh insight into the economic aspects and connotations of Law and Policy.
Theme
Topics including but not limited to Commercial transactions, Constitution, Property, and Technology shall be the focal points of discussion on this virtual platform designed to bring about an overall flow of information by inviting interested participants to read and participate in the discussions.
Category of Submissions
Submissions shall include, but not be limited to Jurisprudence, Technology Laws, Competition Law, Fiscal Policies, National Investment Law, Artificial Intelligence and Economics, Corporate Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Environmental Laws, Taxation Laws, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and Carriage Laws.
Eligibility
The SOCLE Blog invites submissions from students, researchers, academicians, practitioners, and anyone who possess knowledge in the field.
Submission Procedure
The manuscript should be accompanied by a separate cover letter specifying the author’s name, designation, institutional affiliation, contact number, email, and LinkedIn id (if available) for future reference. Please rename your .doc or .docx file in the following format – “Name of the Author_Cover Letter”.
