The Japan Economic Policy Association (JEPA) invites you to the 25th JEPA International Conference. The conference will feature regular sessions, theme-related plenary sessions, and more. This year, the conference will be held in a face-to-face format only. The event is relevant for academics, scholars, policymakers, and officials from governments and international institutions working in the fields of economics and related sciences. Presenters at the conference are encouraged to consider submitting their papers to the International Journal of Economic Policy Studies (IJEPS), the official refereed journal of JEPA published by Springer. We invite you to submit papers for presentation at the conference. Please follow the instructions below.

Important Dates

• Application for presentation and Full paper Submission deadline: August 10, 2026

Application for Presentation

• To apply for a presentation, you must both (i) access the conference website and fill in the application form (paper title, abstract, keywords, contact details, category of interest) and (ii) submit both a cover page file and a full paper file in PDF format.

• Abstracts should not exceed 500 characters (not 500 words).

• Please enter three keywords for your application.

• The cover page template (docx format) can be downloaded from the JEPA website.

• Full papers can be in any format. However, submitted full papers will be assessed and screened by the program committee based on the assessment criteria described in the Assessment Guideline below, and only papers that have passed the assessment will be permitted to be presented.

• Each individual may submit only one paper and appear in the program as an author or a co-author within three times.

• Mandatory Role as a Discussant: Each presenter is required to serve as a discussant for another paper in the same session. Submission of a paper constitutes your agreement to fulfill this dual role.

• Presentation dates and times will be assigned by the Program Committee.

We cannot accommodate requests for specific dates or times

• The deadline for applications is August 10, 2026.
