About the Sushant University

Sushant University, School of Law, has set up a Legal Aid Clinic on 26th November 2014 for providing free legal aid to the deprived, helpless, poor, downtrodden and weaker sections of the society.

SLAC has been associated with District Legal Aid Services Authority, Gurgaon and has been conducting several awareness campaigns in numerous schools and remote areas. We are also the recipient of National Legal Aid Award in the 4th National Conference on Human Rights and Gender organised by Knowledgsteez.

About the opportunity

Sushant University, Centre for Corporate Legal Research and Training (CCLRT) as part of its endeavour of facilitating its student community and proliferating awareness about the recent trends in India in relation to Corporate & Business Laws, is organizing a call for book chapters on ‘Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016’.

About the Book

This Call for Book Chapters will circumscribe the latest developments and contemporary affairs in relation to insolvency and bankruptcy in and around India. In furtherance of such an objective, we cordially invite papers from legal fraternity across India.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Co-Authorship shall not be allowed under any circumstances.
  2. Strict adherence to the deadlines shall be followed.
  3. Any submission after the deadline shall not be accepted.
  4. The submission must be accompanied by a declaration form stating that the Chapter is the original work of the author and free from any plagiarism or copyright infringement. 
  5. Plagiarism above 15% will lead to disqualification.

Submission details

  • The submission shall be made in soft copy in PDF and .doc/.docx format at [email protected] wherein the subject of the mail must be “Submission for Book Chapters of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016” on or before Midnight of the last day of submission.
  • The body of the email must contain the following: –
    • Name of the Author
    • Brief Introduction of the Author
    • Affiliated Institution
    • Title of the Chapter

Selected research papers will be published in the book bearing ISBN NO. Publication Certificate will be provided to those whose papers are selected for publications.
