Scopus: Special Issue on Cyber Security for Internet of Things @Elsevier

Theme:

The cyber security of Internet of Things (IoT) has attracted a lot of attention from both academia and industry. To address the various new security threats that are emerging in the IoT, researchers have proposed numerous network security technologies for building secure and reliable wired/wireless network applications. However, due to various reasons such as the heterogeneity of computer communication networks and systems, the large-scale and diversity of network traffic, and the social adaptability of new technologies, the newly proposed network security technologies inevitably carry limitations and hence are insufficient to adequately address existing security problems and also hinder the application of wired/wireless network systems in IoT. The rapid development of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, edge computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, post-quantum cryptography, also makes the research on the security of wired/wireless networks in IoT more complex and challenging. We would like to initiate the special topic of “Cyber Security for Internet of Things” and welcome experts, scholars, and researchers in related fields to submit their contributions, focusing on the new cyber security challenges in IoT and providing new ideas and solutions.

This special issue will focus on (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Hardware and software co-design for secure and reliable wired/wireless networks
  • Resource management for secure and reliable wired/wireless networks
  • Design automation for secure and reliable wired/wireless networks
  • Data analytics for secure and reliable wired/wireless networks
  • Blockchain and distributed ledger technology for IoT
  • Cryptographic primitives and applications in IoT
  • Cryptography theory, implementation and verification for IoT
  • Physical security of Cryptographic system on IoT devices
  • Artificial intelligence security for IoT applications
  • Social network security and privacy preserving in IoT
  • Trusted computing for IoT
  • Cloud/fog/edge computing security and privacy protection
