ABOUT SCHOOL OF LAW

The School of Law at Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun is running two full time five- year programs i.e. B.B.A.LL.B.& B.A.LL.B. approved by the Bar Council of India along with LL.M. and Ph.D. in law. The School of Law envisions achieving supremacy in legal education through innovative teaching, experiential learning, creative enquiry, social awareness and research, along with industry- oriented curriculum and training students through rigorous research, moot court competitions, and classroom discussions on case laws and variety of internships with Supreme Court judges, top law firms and senior advocates.

“We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity.” With this belief, School of Law, GEHU is proud to announce the 3^rd edition of International Model United Nations 2021 on November 25- 26^th.

Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations wherein every participant represents a country and aims to ensure world peace through this platform. Our conferences over the past decade have seen delegates participate from all over the country. We invite students to be a part of this astounding conference that will embark on a journey to make future leaders and speakers. Get yourself registered latest by 22^nd November, 2021.

The conference will witness a simulation of the following committees and agendas:

UNGA – Socio-Legal Impact of the Acquisition of Taliban over Afghanistan.
UNHRC – Capital Punishment “A bane or a boon.”
AIPPM – Socio-Political Perspectives of Farmers Agitation in India.
Lok Sabha – No Confidence Motion against NDA Government on Refale Deal and Citizenship Amendment Bill, 2018.
